When will my box arrive?

All Sample Society boxes begin shipping on or around the date shown on your Dashboard. Once your box ships, your expected shipment date will be updated accordingly. You can expect to receive it within 7 days of the updated ship date. You can track your shipment in your Membership Profile.

How does my monthly gift code work? Will my $10 gift expire?

You're issued a $10 gift code each month that you're enrolled in Sample Society — good toward a $50 BeautyBar.com purchase. Each monthly gift code expires 30 days after the shipment date. Check your Dashboard to view the expiration date.

How much is shipping?

Your $15 monthly Sample Society membership fee includes shipping.

What's the difference between the new Sample Society and the old Sample Society?

Sample Society got a little makeover — and we think you'll be thrilled with the changes. First, you'll still receive five deluxe samples hand-selected by Allure beauty editors — plus the Allure-penned mini-mag packed with in-depth product reviews — for just $15 a month. Now also, you'll look forward to a $10 monthly gift code to redeem on any $50+ BeautyBar,com purchase. Shop for whatever you'd like!

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. We recommend that you cancel by the 24th of the month to avoid seeing credit card authorizations for the next month's box. Please contact our friendly customer care team at (888) 696-0423, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unfortunately, you will not be refunded for any boxes that have shipped already.

What if I want to change my address or my billing information?

You can update your account information at any time through your Dashboard or by contacting customer care. Note that the shipping address must be updated at least 1 day before your next scheduled ship date, or else that month's delivery will not reflect the change.

I never received my box.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your card will be charged on your ship date each month. Once your box ships, the ship date will be updated on your Dashboard. You can expect to receive your Sample Society box within 7 days of the updated ship date. Please note that your credit card will be authorized for the charge four days before your ship date.

How long will my membership last?

As long as you're enrolled in the Sample Society program, we will continue to charge your card and send you deliveries each month.

I didn't like one of the samples I received. Can I exchange it for a different sample?

We're unable to offer exchanges for samples received.

What is your return policy?

Since Sample Society monthly packages are not for general purchase but for members only, we cannot offer returns for Sample Society shipments. However, you can cancel your membership at anytime. Please contact our friendly customer care team at (888) 696-0423, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Will you tell me ahead of time what I'll find in my box?

You will not be able to view which samples are included in your box before receiving them.

What is my Beauty Profile? Does it take a long time to fill out?

Your Beauty Profile is a short questionnaire that we use to capture your beauty needs and preferences. There are only six questions in your Beauty Profile, so it should only take a few minutes to fill out.

Can I edit my Beauty Profile after I save it?

No, unfortunately you will not be able to edit your Beauty Profile after you save it.

Do you ship Sample Society to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories APO/FPO, and international addresses?

At the time, we do not ship to any of the above locations.
