A Scent for All

Suited for men and women alike, Annick Goutal created Hadrien Absolu in 1981 after reading Memoirs of Hadrien, a literary interpretation of the Italian emperor Hadrien. Hadrien Absolu Eau de Toilette also reflects its creator's appreciation for southern Italy, featuring several citrus notes as well as ylang-ylang.

Just a year after the 1980 opening of a small boutique on Rue de Bellechasse, Annick Goutal created her upscale perfumery house. This endeavor came out of one woman's desire to take control of her own destiny. Over time, the perfume range grew and Goutal had a loyal set of customers who helped make the company what it is today. Her legacy lives on and the company continues to develop fragrances that reflect Goutal's emotion, creativity, authenticity and excellence.
