he fifth member of the Beauty Bar family opened on New Years Eve of 2006 at the corner of El Cajon and Euclid. This diamond in the rough was once a notorious Hell's Angels hangout called the Playhouse.

The new back bar came from an old barber shop in northern New Jersey and the vintage dryer chairs came from Paul's Beauty Salon in Austin. BBSD boasts a 1000 sq. ft. outdoor patio with a comfortable smoking area and small stag for live performances.
